As breathtaking as Borgo Stomennano is, what stayed with me most wasn't the view. It was the feeling of belonging from the very beginning.

Anna & Jake travelled to Tuscany to celebrate their destination wedding at Borgo Stomennano, one of the most iconic wedding venues near Monteriggioni. Photographing their wedding felt incredibly special. High school sweethearts who grew up side by side, they brought the people who had witnessed every chapter of their relationship to Tuscany to celebrate with them. You could feel it in the speeches and in the way everyone looked at them. This wasn't simply a wedding day; it felt like a celebration of years spent growing together.

One of the things I treasure most about my work is getting to experience these worlds, even if only for a few days. Anna & Jake's family and friends welcomed me with such warmth that I never felt like someone documenting from the outside. I felt trusted, included and genuinely part of the celebration. It created an atmosphere where everyone could simply be present and where I could create from the heart of it all. Those are the weddings that stay with me long after I've delivered the gallery.

And because the little things deserve to be remembered too: this was, without question, the best wedding cake I've ever tasted and one of the liveliest dance floors I've had the pleasure of photographing.
