FAQs

How would you describe your approach to wedding photography?

The truth is, I don't think it begins with photography at all. It begins with connection.

I'm endlessly curious about people. Who you are as a couple, the traditions you cherish, the little rituals you've created, and the atmosphere you hope everyone will leave with. I genuinely want to understand what makes your relationship yours and what this wedding means to you. The photographs simply grow from there.

Some moments ask to be quietly observed. Others call for thoughtful direction, a certain light, a certain composition. Throughout the day, I intuitively move between everything, reading the room, led by curiosity, a sensitivity for people, paying attention to the subtle dynamics between people, and adapting to the energy, cultural traditions and rhythm of your celebration.

Most couples tell me it wasn't only the photographs that drew them in. It was the feeling of having someone by their side who genuinely cared. Someone who made everything feel uncomplicated, calm and deeply personal. As one of my couples put it: “With you, everything felt so easy and comfortable from the very beginning. You have an eye for the moments that matter and a way of capturing the atmosphere that makes everything feel so effortless and light. We completely trusted you and your creative eye, because you see things others might miss.”

That trust means everything to me. Because when you feel completely at ease, you're free to immerse yourselves in your day. And that's where the photographs you'll treasure for a lifetime begin.

Which languages do you speak?

I was born in Vienna, Austria, and I'm a native speaker of both German and Bosnian and work fluently in English. I speak a little French (thanks to school) and understand more Spanish than I probably should after years of watching telenovelas with my siblings. While I wouldn't confidently photograph a wedding entirely in either language, I'm always happy to greet your parents or share a laugh along the way.

How do we know if we'll enjoy having you by our side for one of the most important days of our lives?

The most meaningful photographs don't begin with a camera. They begin the moment you feel completely at ease being yourselves. So, the next step is simple: let's meet over a video call. I want to get to know you: Your story, your plans, what matters most to you, and the kind of experience you hope to create for yourselves and the people you love. The wedding photographer is one of the very few people who will be by your side throughout the whole wedding day. In our video call we can see whether we share the same values, you feel seen and understood, and whether my presence gives you a sense of calm and trust. When the chemistry feels natural, it shines through - making your photos vibrant and genuine - and from that space, beautiful images can emerge. Most couples tell me it wasn't just the photographs that drew them in — it was the feeling that everything would be uncomplicated, effortless and natural with me by their side. Free to be themselves, trusting that I'd notice the moments that mattered most.

How do you help us feel comfortable in front of the camera?

Feeling comfortable comes from feeling safe enough to simply be yourselves. That's why I invest time in getting to know you before your wedding day. Through conversations and learning about the way you naturally interact with one another. On the day itself, I'll guide you whenever needed, but I'll never ask you to perform or become someone you're not. Instead, I create space for you to slow down and connect with each other. The most genuine photographs happen when you're immersed in your own little world. My role is knowing when to quietly step back and when to gently step in. So you can stay present with each other, while I make sure you feel comfortable, beautifully guided and captured at your absolute best.

How will you translate our wedding’s mood into photos?

I focus on what matters most to you while staying true to my style that drew you to my work. Some couples fall in love with the softness of the photos, the way I work with light, others with the editorial edge. Most tell me it was the feeling my photographs gave them that made them choose me. That’s why I love to take the time to talk with you - to understand what moves you and what feels right, so your photos reflect your day in a way you absolutely adore. So your photos feel like you and something you’ll always love coming back to. As one of my couples beautifully put it: "Your eye for meaningful moments and the way you capture a feeling made everything seem so effortless and light. We instantly knew that was exactly what we wanted."

Do you photograph multicultural and destination weddings?

Absolutely. Growing up between cultures has given me an appreciation for celebrations that bring different traditions, languages and families together. Because of my Bosnian roots and growing up in Vienna, and later studying Transcultural Communication and Human Resources, moving between different cultures has always been a natural part of my life. It taught me early on that every family has its own traditions, dynamics and way of expressing love. Rather than assuming, I'm naturally curious and I take the time to understand. Whether your celebration blends different cultures or introduces me to traditions I've never experienced before, I approach it with genuine curiosity, respect, and excitement! It's one of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer — every wedding teaches me something new, and I find that incredibly enriching.

What makes you passionate about wedding photography?

At the heart of it all is connection. Connecting with people, beauty and creativity. Nothing compares to the feeling of capturing something so meaningful and preserving it in photographs that allow you to relive your day - not just now, but in the future to come.
To know that my work becomes part of your family history, something you can return to again and again, gives me a deep sense of purpose.

I adore beautifully crafted concepts and the way everyone shows up as their most radiant self on a wedding day. For me, it’s a privilege to step into a world overflowing with love and joy, even if only for a day. The feeling it brings is both peaceful and exhilarating at the same time - an energy that stays with me long after I put my camera down. I love the balance between the energy of actively shooting and the quiet, creative retreat into what I affectionately call my editing cave.

How do we make things official?

Peak seasons, especially spring and summer, tend to book quickly, so getting in touch early gives you the best chance of securing your date. Once we've had our call and you feel we're the right fit for one another, I'll send over your agreement and invoice for the booking retainer. As soon as both are received, your wedding date is officially reserved.

From there, we're in this together. Whether you have questions along the way, want to talk through ideas, or simply need a second opinion during the planning process, I'm always just a message away.

Can we order a wedding album?

Some memories deserve more than a folder on a hard drive — and your wedding is certainly one of them. I believe photographs truly come to life when they're held in your hands. Your wedding album becomes part of your home and your family's story. Something you'll reach for on anniversaries and share with future generations. One of my favourite reminders of that came from my three-year-old nephew. The first time he looked through the wedding album of his mom and dad, he suddenly stopped, looked up in complete disbelief and asked,

"But... why wasn't I invited to your wedding?"

That's the magic of a printed album! It's why I work with beautifully handcrafted albums, thoughtfully designed to become timeless heirlooms. I'll personally curate the layout, creating a keepsake you'll treasure forever.
